This tree removal project involved a dangerous tree growing over two neighbouring properties in Southampton.

Because of the tree’s position and the very restricted access to the site, a conventional removal would have created unnecessary risk and disruption. We needed a method that would allow our arboriculturists to dismantle the tree safely while keeping all cut material under control.

To complete the job efficiently, we brought in a mini compact crane.

Despite its small footprint, the crane provided the lifting power needed to handle large sections of the tree in a controlled manner. We lifted cut sections directly away from the neighbouring properties and lowered them safely into the client’s garden.

This significantly reduced the risk of damage and helped keep the surrounding areas clear throughout the work.
